Boris Kodjoe

Boris Kodjoe, was born in Vienna, Austria. He grew up in Germany and became one of the best Tennis players in the country. In the fall of 1992 he decided to accept a Tennis scholarship to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

While studying in Richmond, he was approached by an agent of the Ford Modeling agency in New York and went onto work on campaigns such as Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis, Yves Saint Laurent and the GAP.

Hollywood soon took notice of Boris. While studying with acting coach Janet Alhanti, he started guest starring on such sitcoms as "Steve Harvey" and "For Your Love", and he was featured in the Spike Lee produced feature film "Love and Basketball", starring Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan. Boris then was cast in the hit TV series ‘Soul Food’, a role for which he won three NAACP Award nominations.

Soon followed a starring role in FOX Searchlight’s feature ‘Brown Sugar’. He then produced and starred, alongside Nicole Ari Parker, in the Paramount/UPN pilot "Second Time Around". A project the couple developed with Paramount and writer/producer Ralph Farquar. On March 5th of 2005, Boris and Nicole welcomed their 1st child, Sophie Tei-Naaki Lee Kodjoe, to this world. The happy couple went on to get married in Boris’ hometown in Germany, on May 21st 2005. Their son, Nicolas Neruda Kodjoe, was born on October 31st 2006. The Kodjoe family resides in Atlanta and Los Angeles. His new film ‘All About Us’ hits theaters fall 2007.

Susan Batson

Susan Batson has worn many hats in her career: actress, writer, director, teacher, coach and producer. She has been publicly thanked by Tom Cruise for her contributions to his role in “Magnolia” and Nicole Kidman for her role in “Moulin Rouge” and her Oscar award winning performance in “The Hours.” Ms. Batson was also creative consultant for many of Spike Lee’s films. She has had the good fortune to work with the likes of Juliette Binoche, Jennifer Connelly, Sean Combs, Lauren Hill, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Liv Tyler. As an actress, Ms Batson is the recipient of a New York and Los Angeles Drama Critics Award and an Obie. She was recently profiled in the New Yorker, Backstage and The Hollywood Reporter. Most recently Susan and her producing partner, Carl Rumbaugh will be Co-Producers along side the Oscar Award winning producers of “American Beauty” Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen on the feature film “The Rivals.” “The Rivals” will star Nicole Kidman. Susan’s second feature project, “American Darlings” will star Queen Latifa and Nicole Kidman. Susan will produce with her partner Carl Rumbaugh alongside the Oscar award winning producing team of “Chicago,” Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. Batson was on the producing team of the hugely successful Broadway revival of “A Raisin in the Sun.” She with her partner will produce on Broadway in the Spring of 2006 the very last play written by America’s greagreat playwright, Tennesee Williams.

Anthony Montgomery

Anthony Montgomery began acting while studying at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. He then transferred to Ball State University where he graduated with a B.S. in Performance Theatre and Drama. After graduation, Montgomery relocated to Chicago where he sang in an R&B group. Returning to Indianapolis, he then began doing stand-up comedy. Soon after, Montgomery moved to California to pursue film and television.

Some of his television credits include: recurring roles on the series' "Star Trek: Enterprise" and "Popular", a guest appearance on "J.A.G.," and co-starring roles on "Resurrection Blvd.", "Charmed", and "Frasier" Montgomery also starred in the feature film "Leprechaun in the Hood" and was a sketch performer for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

Some of his stage credits include: "Dutchman", "A Day of Absence", "East of the Sun, West of the Moon" (original piece), "Medal of Honor Rag", "Wine in the Wilderness", "Working", "Oliver", and "Rumors".

Montgomery was raised in Indianapolis and currently resides in Los Angeles.

Victoria Rowell

Rowell is an Emmy-nominated actress, who co-starred in the hit prime time television series "Diagnosis Murder" (1993) for eight seasons while simultaneously continuing her role as "Drucilla Winters" on the daytime drama, "The Young and the Restless" (1973). Born in Portland, Maine, Rowell was raised in foster care for 18 years. She trained as a dancer for eight years before turning professional and dancing with various companies, including the American Ballet Theater (ABT) II and the Twyla Tharp Workshop. After dancing, she pursued a career in modeling, and graced the pages of Seventeen and Mademoiselle magazines. Modeling led to acting -- she landed a recurring role on the highly-rated "The Cosby Show" (1984). An advocate for foster children like herself, she founded the Rowell Foster Children's Positive Plan in 1990, which enriches the lives of foster children through artistic and athletic expression.
