When immigration agents
raided a factory in New Bedford, Massachusetts, they arrested over 360
undocumented immigrant workers that were making vests and backpacks for the US
military. Many of the workers were women
with small children. Detained follow
familes affected by the raid in the chaotic days that follow.
As technology expands, so
goes ones focus. When tragedy strikes, how does one react? Whether good or bad,
karma rules.
The Doll is set in the early
1900s and tells the story of Tom Taylor, the black proprietor of the Wyandot
Hotel barbershop. Taylor's humanity, his
dignity, and his responsibility to family and community are severely challenged
