Volunteer Opportunities (Form Below)
The Roxbury Film Festival seeks volunteers for our 10th annual event (July 28 - August 3, 2008).
Volunteering is an exciting way to meet filmmakers and see a variety of innovative independent films. Benefits include:
- Free passes to films and panel discussions
- Invitations to select festival events and parties
- Short flexible shifts
Volunteers are needed to perform a variety of duties, including:
- Pre-festival work (invitation stuffing, preparing/arranging materials)
- Greeting and registration of filmmakers and special guests
- T-shirt and poster sales
- Distribution and tabulation of audience ballots
- Distribution of festival brochure and feedback forms
- Directing guests between festival venues
Volunteer orientation meetings are held in the weeks preceding the festival.
